The Archers were once soldiers of the Izdihar kingdom. They were corrupted by the Haoma and transformed into the Sorceress's slaves. Their bows could be divided into two daggers and their arrows could reach the Prince even at a great distance. Their faces were replaced with masks, similar to other monsterss faces.
The hero fights this type of creature many times, until it gets replaced with a stronger version: the Hunter.
