Assassins are a common enemy in Warrior Within

Official Description

"The strongest and most agile of the Bladedancers, these remorseless killers are considered the Empress's favorites, owning to their incredible athletic abilities and mastery of disc-disc blade and dagger. Assassins are firm believers in the concept of "pleasure is pain", meaning they are unlikely to disengage from from an opponent, even when the odds are against them."
—Official Booklet Description[1]

Assassins are quicker than Bladedancers. They can dodge most of the conventional attacks used by the player, as well as the more complicated move sets at the Prince's disposal. Assassins are capable of using the "backstab" maneuver against against the player. They can also break guards and weaken the Prince by using sweep attacks to know him to the ground. However, if the player can grab a hold of the Assassin, the enemy type cannot break free of the player's grasp or avoid any attacks that follow.

The best strategy is to simply slow down time, and try to stay behind them. Or you can use the left hand combos to get rid of them. The Agas carried by the Assassins has a healing power, and an average damage rate. It is recommended to keep them.

  • According to the strategy guide, Assassins are 110 lbs and 5'4'.
