Executioners are the deadliest adversaries in Warrior Within except for Kaileena, Shahdee, The Griffin, The Dahaka and The Giants.

They are found in the Prison area, in the Library, and on the Cliff.

Unlike the Raiders and Keepers who serve beneath them, Executioners suffer from neither stupidity nor insecurity. They are focused, dedicated warriors who aim solely to please the Empress of Time. They attack the Prince by assaulting him with large, heavy weaponry, and on top of that, they are well armored, defending them from most of the Prince's standard attacks and combos. After they are killed, their weapons prove very powerful and very useful when confronting powerful enemies, but like most of the heavily damaging weapons, they break easily.

StrategyEdit

Defeating the executioners can be extremely easy if you are focused enough. They, like the other standard enemies, are susceptible to aerial attacks and grabs. Obviously, if you are fighting mano a mano against one, you can just grab and steal their weapon, which kills any enemy upon theft.

However, these guys are rarely alone. When fighting multiple of them, keep on your toes as if one gets you in a combo, a good chunk of health will go with it. Not counting his pals waiting for more attacks on you. Rewinds are also hard to time when this happens, as when you rewind to a specific point carelessly, you could just get caught by another attack.

Keep vaulting over them, trying to get them to attack each other. Repel off of walls to do the most damage at once, and in one room in the prison, you can toss them into the hole in the center of the room. The above mentioned room. In the same room, above the room in which you fight the Thrall, in the room in which you encounter them for the first time, and in the second room in which you encounter them for the second time, there are columns with which you can do the column spin attacks. Also in the second room in which the prince encounters these foes for the second time, there is a spiked pit in the corner into which you can throw them into.

You can slow down the time for an easy fight, but if you are a true "Prince of Persia" , the King of Blades, you will dispatch these Executioners with diferent combos, or you can use the Sand Powers to knock them to the ground and finish them.
