Farah's Bow

Farah's Bow^[3] is the default weapon of Farah in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and The Two Thrones.

Abilities[]

Farah's bow is a long-range weapon used by Farah. During combat, Farah's bow can weaken or stun larger Sand Creatures such as the Sand Generals or Blue Sand Guards to ease battles for the Prince. However, Farah's bow can destroy Sand Creatures such as Scarabs and Sand Birds with only a few strikes.^[1]

In The Two Thrones, Farah's bow often kills enemies such as the Scythian Swordsman and Scythian Archer in one blow.

Gameplay[]

"Farah can sustain only a certain number of hits from enemies before her bow breaks. If that happens, the next blow will kill her and it’s Game Over... unless you can save her by using the Power of Revival (Rewind)."

As a gameplay element in The Sands of Time, Farah's bow represents Farah's health. During combat, a red lifebar in the shape of a bow will appear in the upper right corner of the screen whenever Farah is attacked. Both the player and the Sand Creatures can harm Farah; if her life bar is depleted far enough, Farah can be killed or will attack the player for hitting her.^[1]

As a cinematic-limited character in The Two Thrones, Farah is never at risk of losing health or in need of the player's assistance.^[2]
