Garsiv is portrayed by Toby Kebbel in the Sands of Time movie. He is the second son of King Sharaman (Ronald Pickup), nephew to Nizam (Ben Kingsley), younger brother to Tus (Richard Coyle) and adopted older brother to Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal). Garsiv is also the leader of the Persian Army.

BiographyEdit

As a young boy, Garsiv enjoyed his training with the sword. Since the day that Dastan stepped into the palace, the pair have shared a friendly rivalry. While stubborn, Garsiv is very loyal to his family. He's always eagar to prove his worth on the battle-field. This often makes him act before thinking.

15 Years LaterEdit

Years later, Garsiv wished to lead the army of Persia in the invasion of Alamut. In the end Dastan took the city by stealth, in order to avoid the death of Garsiv's men.

Personality and traitsEdit

Garsiv is a born soldier and eager to prove his aptitude to King Sharaman and Tus. He is competitive with Dastan and initially thinks that his adopted brother had killed their father but later grows to trust Dastan again. Garsiv also prefers direct confrontation rather then diplomacy or stealth.
