"Queen Mehri descended the steps with a sword in hand, head held high, her voice clear"
—Narration of Mehri's actions during the events of Battles of Prince of Persia

Mehri was the Queen of Persia. Born in India, she is the mother of the Prince and Malik and wife to King Shahraman.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Mehri was born and raised in India. At some point in time she met Shahraman of Persia and married him. She later gave birth to two sons, Malik and the Prince.

Battles of Prince of Persia[]

As Indian Troops enter Persia and cause havoc, Mehri enters the battlefield in a effort to stop the fighting.[1] Her appearance was enough to make the invading forces stop and listen to her. However, she was soon struck down by a stray arrow, which kills her. Her death effects the Prince deeply.[1]

Aftermath[]

As a result of the Prince's actions on the Island of Time, Mehri's fate in the timeline was likely changed. However, her fate after he prevents the creation of the Sands of Time is never revealed. It can be reasonably inferred that she was killed in the Scythian invasion of Babylon along with Shahraman.

Trivia[]

  • The majority of Mehri's life is relatively unexplored in the Sands of Time Trilogy. She is never mentioned by the Prince, who states that his brother, Malik, was a large part of his upbringing[2] alongside Shahraman's friend, the Old Man.[3]
  • Her death is one of the reasons why the Prince's personality shifted in Warrior Within.
