The Prince follows her, and finds her confronting a more powerful Mourning King. They reunite, and drive the king away temporarily. As the try to escape the palace, they confront the Mourning King, and many of Ahriman's followers.

In a final confrontation with the Mourning King, the Prince pushes him into some spikes, impaling him. The Prince and Elika then flee, as Ahriman then tries to kill them. They get away, but Elika, angry at the Prince for freeing Ahriman, leaves the Prince in search for other Ahura to defeat Ahriman.

Reception

The DLC was received with mixed reviews. Reviewers praised the level design and gameplay for being more difficult than the original. At the same time some were disappointed the length of the DLC compared to its price and the lack of story progression.

Ubisoft made the controversial decision to not release the epilogue for PC, which did get the original game. A Ubisoft community manager stated that the DLC was not released on PC due to "business reasons". The decision led to an outcry in the PC community.
