|Prince of Persia Trilogy (HD Collection)|
|Series||Sands of Time Trilogy|
The Prince of Persia Trilogy (also known as Prince of Persia Trilogy 3D) is a High-definition remaster of the PlayStation 2 (Gamecube and XBox) and Microsoft Windows games, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones, developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft in 2003, 2004 and 2005. The Prince of Persia Trilogy is the third title released in "Classics HD" collection since the announcement of God of War's HD remaster in 2009.
The games were remastered in HD for the PlayStation 3 with 3D and PlayStation Network support on the PlayStation 3's supported Blu-ray Disc. An initial series collection was released in Europe in 2006 before the remastered collection released November 19, 2010. In North America, the trilogy was initially released exclusively to the PlayStation Network as individual titles with a retail price of $14.99 and tentative December release. It was rumored and later confirmed that a Blu-ray release of the remastered trilogy would be released March 22, 2011. However, the physical release was delayed until April 19, 2011.
- The "Prince of Persia Trilogy" is the first HD title not published by Sony Computer Entertainment.
