Early Life[]

Before The Sandstorm[]

Seso was captured in his home village and taken into slavery. He was sold on the slave markets of Sur to merchant Faruq. Seso labored for months in his service, learning the Persian language. Then came the wedding of Faruq's son. When the Vizier arrived with his family, Seso instantly recognized how Vizier's wife had taken liking to him. He managed to find excuses to work away from her. But that changed one night. During a circus act he was ambushed by the woman in her tent. And things got worse yet, as a nearby tent caught fire and they were found out. Seso was blamed for attacking the woman, and he had to run for his life. Seso happened upon Sheikh Amar, who took him in.[1]

The Sands of Time[]

During Prince Dastan and Princess Tamina's journey, the pair meet a group of merchant-bandits, lead by entrepreneur Sheikh Amar with Seso, his loyal retainer. The Sheikh explains that Seso comes from a warrior tribe called the Ngbaka. A skilled group of knife throwers, and that it would be unwise to try and fight him. So Dastan convinces the pair to take Princess Tamina as a form of collateral.[2]

When the Sheikh reveals that Dastan is a wanted man and plans on turning him over for the reward Dastan tries to flee, Seso stops him, unfortunately Tamina frees Amar's ostrich's. Seso tries to stop the pair but is told not to harm any of the birds. Allowing the pair escape.[2]

Dastan and Tamina are later captured by Seso and the Sheikh again, because of the chaos they caused. Sheikh Amar intended to claim the reward for turning them in to renew his business. But that night, when everyone was sleeping, the Hassansins leader attacked the group. Many of Amar's men died, but Dastan used the dagger to rewind time, and, foreseeing the attack, saved Seso's life and managed to kill the snakes.[2]

The next day, the pair, now accompanied by Seso and Sheikh Amar, travel to the secret sanctuary in the mountains, where they'd planned to seal the dagger away the stone where it came from. The plan fails as they run into Garsiv and his men. Dastan, however, manages to convince Garsiv he is innocent, only for Garsiv to be killed by a Hassansin. Shortly after, they realize that Dagger was stolen in the fight.[2]

Seso, returns to Alamut with Dastan in an attempt to reveal the truth to Tus. First, they must get the dagger, which is kept in the sacred temple, guarded by a Hassansin. Seso, fights the spike-wielding Hassansin to obtain the dagger. He manages to kill the him after a well aimed throw, but is fatally wounded in the process. He manages to throw the Dagger out of the window to Amar and Dastan before dying.[2]

Once Dastan rewound time, Sheikh Amar's ostrich racing empire, and Seso's life were most likely restored.[2]
